• Lexan: Is a brand name of polycarbonate, which is a transparent plastic of high impact strength.
• Polycarbonate: Synthetic resin in which the polymers units are linked through carbonate groups, including many molding materials and films.
• Plexiglass: A brand name of acrylic and is sold under many different names, such as Acrylite, Lucite and Perspex.
• Plastic: Is a generic term for a large group of semi-synthetic materials, consisting mainly of one or more polymer mixed with additives.
